You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Americans For New Regulated Capitalism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:39, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

{{help me}} Is this topic marked for deletion simply because it is not a "notable" organization? T.Allen221 (talk) 20:03, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is because it has no references at all, so we cannot check if any of the information is true. It does not demonstrate notability - all information should be verifiable through independent reliable sources such as newspapers, etc. - see WP:VRS and WP:CORP.  Chzz  ►  20:14, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As reviewing administrator, I need to explain a little further. We do not immediately delete articles because they have no references. We do delete them immediately when there is no indication of why the group referred to is of significance or importance., For the article to stay in Wikipedia you will indeed have to provide references demonstrating importance by substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases to prove the importance. At the present, there is no indication that there is any importance at all, and the article seems rather to be entirely promotional of you new group. But even if you improve it in both respects, there will be no point reinserting it unless you do have references available, for the notability will surely be challenged through our regular deletion processes. Thanks. Sorry, I'm new to this and appreciate the response. T.Allen221 (talk) 20:57, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
