Are you serious about deleting this article? He's a billionaire, very big property developer whose daughter married a prominent figure in politics. If he's not notable, you'll have to delete half the bios on Wikipedia. --Johnnyturk888 (talk) 15:12, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

You said the article had no citations when you proposed it for deletion[1]. As you can see by following that link, that's not true. I really do urge you to be more careful. --Johnnyturk888 (talk) 15:57, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

The problem on that article is that you need a references section at the bottom of the page, which there wasn't. You also need multiple sources. I'm sorry for putting the speedy tag on there, however there is no need to keep reprimanding me. T3chl0v3r (talk) 16:09, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
A references section to list the references already present could easily have been added by you, which it wasn't. At the time you proposed the speedy delete, it already had multiple sources. Thank you for your apology, it is appreciated. You see, I'm not concerned about it as it relates to that article, I'm concerned you might be doing it on other articles without carefully reviewing the material. Perhaps many new articles are problematic, I'm not sure but that doesn't excuse not reading the articles, checking the sources and initiating a discussion, rather than just proposing a speedy delete. That approach is not what Wikipedia is about, and I'm glad you acknowledge it. I'll be watching the articles you propose for deletion to ensure this doesn't happen again. --Johnnyturk888 (talk) 16:16, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
That's fine, just make sure to be civil about it. T3chl0v3r (talk) 16:19, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Yep, will do. Have you reviewed a few of your many proposed page deletions and most seem quite legitimate, please always ensure though that you WP:AGF, without that we don't have much. --Johnnyturk888 (talk) 16:23, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:02, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

2009 Mardin Attack

Sorry about that. I wasn't sure whether it belonged there or not. I'm trying to fix it up to the best of my very limited ability. I will need the help of others to help clean up the article. I can provide the information needed for the article, but will need the help of others to clean it up into a presentable article. If it turns out as more information comes out that it does not warrant a Wikipedia article, it should be deleted. Again, it is still breaking news at the moment and there is not enough information as to whether it should be deleted or not. That is my personal opinion. Your thoughts? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesryan87 (talkcontribs) 23:29, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Nightmare 2010

I've added more content and more will be added, please remove deletion notice

I Seek To Help & Repair! (talk) 21:54, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

I have reviewed the request, and removed the speedy delete tag. T3chl0v3r (talk) 22:25, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
I have redirected that page to A Nightmare on Elm Street (franchise)#Future for two reasons. First, I Seek to Help created a page that was not appropriately titled, namely the capitalized "Film" in the article name. Second, per WP:NFF, all future films must be in production to have articles, and the production itself must be notable. As of right now, it isn't. The only news we have is casting news, and some blips about where they plan to film. That's all. We have nothing on production, because they haven't released anything about the production of the film. A single paragraph of development information doesn't warrant a page, and that is why the correct title (as well as I Seek To Help's title) is redirected to the franchise article.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 02:51, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Re-Direct

If you type... A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010 film) making the 'f' in lower caps, it takes you to the Nightmare on elm street franchise page. You have to type the 'f' in upper caps for it to take you to the article on the new film, is there anyway you can make it re-direct the lower 'f' to the new film?

Hi T3chl0v3r-

Can you please review the article issues that you posted up on the page for Alan Siegel. I have since erased the majority of the original entry and just left up a starting paragraph that shouldn't pose any of the issues you sited. I would like to start the page with a clean slate so that as I go adding information I know what does/doesn't cause a problem.

Would you be interested in joining this project? We need more editors who share a burden for rescuing promising editors who have gotten into serious trouble because of behavioral issues. IF (a fundamental condition!) they are interested in reforming and adapting to our standards of conduct, and are also willing to abide by our policies and guidelines, rather than constantly subverting them, we can offer to help them return to Wikipedia as constructive editors. Right now many if not most users who have been banned are still active here, but they are here as socks or anonymous IPs who may or may not be constructive. We should offer them a proper way to return. If you think this is a good idea, please join us. I Seek To Help & Repair! (talk) 05:11, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Davidson West and Nobert Streets Roundabout

Hello, I have received a deletion notice. I have taken action on it and added many more references, text, factual information as well as references to local media headlines. I hope this is all OK; I have removed the template from the page - I am somewhat inexperienced in this.

Although I however have contributed quite a bit to other Wikis in the past, I could use some help... I saw you adopt users - I read about it and I am interested. I already learnt something by looking at your posts (the "Tildes" signature) I am looking forward to bringing in some knowledge to this World. Thanks.

Talk:Crushed (singer) tagged as an attack pagw

That was not an attack page. In view of the questionable notability, it was a valid question. The way to go in this instance was just to blank the talk page as unconstructive. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 22:32, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

speedy-notice-decline

Hello. I'm concerned that the template you are using, User:T3chl0v3r/speedy-notice-decline, may be using false terminology and/or false statements. I don't understand where the 'remarkable' standard comes in - that word is not even mentioned on WP:CSD. As best I can tell, speedy deletion hinges on whether the articles indicates the importance of the subject. The 'remarkability' of the subject does not seem to be an important component of CSD A7. Brianga (talk) 14:19, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Are you an admin? The "not done" x mark on the thing made me thing you are. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 15:39, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Ah, I see you are not. I'd like to offer some suggestions about this template. The {{{notdone}}} gives the impression that you are an admin who declined to perform an admin function. While any user may remove a speedy deletion tag, your contact with the person who placed it should not give the impression that you are an admin. I feel it might be a bit rough. If someone hit me with a template like that, I'd feel like I'd been slapped in the face. It could be worded more in line with--
{{<includeonly>subst:</includeonly>BASEPAGENAME}} and thank you for helping to improve Wikipedia. I have removed the speedy deletion tag on [[:{{{1}}}]] because I believe the article does assert significance, a lower standard that notability, because <<your reason here.>> Cheers, and happy editing.
I generally don't use a template on patrollers 'cause I prefer to tailor my message individually. Cheers, and happy editing. Dlohcierekim 20:38, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
I understand your concerns, I am sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. However according to the Template:NotDone documentation: This is an image-based template may be used on talk pages to show clearly that a section of discussion has not been resolved, so that each editor does not have to completely re-read the section. It is not limited to admin use. I did nothing wrong there. However, I will consider rewritting the template to use something like this image. I will also use your suggestions in my new template. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I've only been here a month, and I am trying to find my place. T3chl0v3r (talk) 20:48, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Rollback

I have 2009 granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 20:26, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello T3chl0v3r and thank you for helping to improve Wikipedia by tagging pages for speedy deletion.. I have removed the speedy deletion tag on CSD Test Page, because CSD A7, despite the misleading {{db-notability}} tag, is not about notability, just indication of significance or importance, a much lower standard. Please be more careful and maybe read WP:A7M to avoid mistakes with this criterion. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion and especially what is considered Non-criteria. In future you should rather tag such pages for proposed deletion or start an appropriate deletion discussion. Just so you know, mistakes like this are made by new and experienced users alike and it is very common. Happy editing! T3chl0v3r (talk) 20:53, 24 May 2009 (UTC) {{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}}

I believe you erroneously reverted my edit

You deleted my inclusion of the quote "They use Brasky's foreskin as a tarp when it rains at Yankee Stadium." from the Bill Brasky page, on the grounds that it was unconstructive. I could find no such standard for 'unconstructivity', possibly because 'unconstructive' is not a word. Further, careful analysis of the "Bar" skit, aired on 12 December 1998, (available for your verification here: http://video.aol.com/video-detail/bill-brasky-stock-broker/2305843009264487852/?icid=VIDURVENT01) contains this quote, beginning at 4:56, by John Goodman. I would appreciate if you reverted your revert, or explained why it did not meet your standard and quotes such as "His poop is considered currency in Argentina." are OK by you. I, in turn, apologize for not knowing all the rules that needed to be invoked when trying to help append 11 year old TV skits on Wikipedia. Perhaps your talents could be put to use someplace a little less 'unconstructive'? Much Obliged, 75.75.100.149 (talk) 11:38, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry that I offended you by reverting that edit. For your information, that is an official Wikipedia policy and template with the word unconstructive, meaning the opposite of constructive. Things containing obscene quotes or words are generally reverted immediately, especially coming from an IP. YOU should remain WP:CIVIL when addressing people, such as in the above post. Feel free to edit the page and add it again, and see how quickly someone else reverts it. When you add obscene things, you need references. T3chl0v3r (talk) 16:44, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
No, no, you didn't offend me. And I did retort with more piss and vinegar than the situation called for; for that, I sincerely apologize. Honestly, however, it's little junk like this that keeps me from becoming a Wikipedian. I try to add something I think is funny, and it's called obscene. (Foreskin? Half of humans have, or had, it, and I'm pretty sure that it's not an obscene word, at least not any more obscene than breastfeeding John Madden.) Heh, maybe you're a Yankee's fan, I don't know. Anyway, I suppose I'll have to stick to reading, not editing. This debate has already taken up too much time, and I honestly don't care that much whether or not that particular quip is included. I'll stick to reading. Cheers, 75.75.100.149 (talk) 22:01, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
