Welcome to Wikipedia, TERdON! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. Hey TERdON, thanks for the note. I delisted it from WP:CP because it's clear that there's not a copyvio issue here, although you're right that there is a tagging issue that should be investigated further. For that reason I think it's right to leave {{unknown}} there: I'm not sure of the legal niceties around the point you raise (IANAL), so I'm not qualified to resolve that issue, but leaving it tagged {{unknown}} increases the possibility that someone who is will give some attention to it. --Ngb^?!? 21:27, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Help with Translation!?[edit]

Cubic Spline Image[edit]

You mentioned in Spline (mathematics) that there should be an image for a cubic spline. I have an Excel spreadsheet that calculates cubic splines and produces a graph, but I do not know how to convert an Excel graph to a jpg or any kind of graphic. I am glad to send you the spreadsheet or, if you prefer, tell me how to convert an Excel graph to an image and I'll do that and upload it.

Ah, nice, didn't notice that you wrote on the talk page, forgot to add it to my watchlist. I think the best thing to do would be to just make a screenshot. Or you could send me the spreadsheet, that would probably be even easier (that is, for you... ;-) ). You would probably need my e-mail address for that? CX-One[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article CX-One, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
