A/V sync[edit]

Hi,

Thanks for creating the articles A/V sync and Audio to video synchronization. It's good content, but they are essentially the same thing, I'm suggesting that these articles be merged into the existing article on Audio video sync.

What will happen if they are merged is that someone looking up any of the three terms will go to the same article. That way similar ground doesn't have to be covered three times.

If you have any questions (about this or Wikipedia in general), please respond here or drop me a message on my talk page. —Celithemis 21:35, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Reversion of edits to Audio to video synchronization. Suggest re-inclusion of my recent edit: "non-constant delay." This is perhaps an even bigger problem than the constant-delay situation, as the former cannot be simply remedied by adding a delay. This is one of the reasons that time stamps are used, but that is not mentioned later in the article. Reference(s) needed? -- algocu (talk) 13:26, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Lip sync error, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Proposed deletion of MuEv[edit]

The article MuEv has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Despite a thorough search, I could not find any reliable secondary sources that discuss this topic. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that this article fails WP:GNG and should be deleted

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 20:13, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of MuEv for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article MuEv is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MuEv until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 22:15, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
