Talk To Me[edit]

  • Thanks a ton Squinge (talk), I can finally edit articles, I just checked. One thing I wanted to know, How do we find articles on Wikipedia that need rectification, or those who are not abiding by laws?

And, can I now input my point of view at Article for Deletion Discussion? Thanks for your assistance.

I find articles that need attention largely by reading things and following links, and when I see things that need fixing I try to fix them. I also look at the "Recent Changes" page sometimes to see what's happening, and help with things that way - it's at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges and there's a link in the Tools section at the left of pages. And yes, as the creator of the article you can indeed contribute to the AFD discussion. Squinge (talk) 11:53, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Rakhee Kapoor Tandon[edit]

Hello Tanishqsh,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rakhee Kapoor Tandon for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 21:53, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Rakhee Kapoor Tandon[edit]

The article Rakhee Kapoor Tandon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Some notability is asserted, but looks like yet another blogger. There are almost no any sources that support the subject notability, beside being daughter of a prominent businessman. The link claiming her being "on of 25 most influential women in India" actually does not say anything like this. Hence, I am nominating this for deletion being promotional as well as not notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Travis steffen[edit]

The article Travis steffen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject looks lacking notability. There is only one proper mention in Forbes and this mention is actually about what the subject posted and not about the subject itself.

Information icon

Hello Tanishqsh. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Tanishqsh. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Tanishqsh|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. ~ Winged BladesGodric 04:13, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is not about any particular subject.I will re-request you to follow the guidelines at WP:PAID, for all articles written in lieu of payments(s) et al. ~ Winged BladesGodric 04:34, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
