Uploading images[edit]

Hello! I notice you have been uploading large files of album art onto Wikipedia. Are you aware that to satisfy fair use criteria, uploaded images with copyrights need to have a lower resolution? WikiProject Albums suggests a maximum width between 200–300px. You can read more about that here. Just something to be aware of going forward. Hi, thanks for letting me know about the resolution guidelines. It's not specified directly anywhere in the file upload pages (or at least I haven't notice that?), so I thought it was OK to provide high resolution album art, since I'm the person who actually scanned it from my own copies. No problem! Remember, this is Wikipedia and everything that can be done can be undone. Wikipedia policies are not inherent, and people will make mistakes. Especially when it comes to new editors.
