Baseball Template[edit]

Great work on Template:Professional Baseball. I am not sure I understand this edit. TonyTheTiger (talk/cont/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:27, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see what happened with the duplicate. How did you decide which links to keep? TonyTheTiger (talk/cont/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 22:54, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Have you added the template to all the links you added. TonyTheTiger 15:34, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Last time you added a lot of links to the template I added the template to each of the pages. Do you think you could add the template to the article pages for the articles that you have linked. TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 17:03, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Football Template[edit]

I am going to make the same comment on Template:Professional gridiron football leagues in North America that I made on the baseball ones above. It would be helpful if you added the template to the articles you are linking. They don't magically add themselves.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 05:48, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Professional gridiron football leagues around the world., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g2.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Balloonguy 23:29, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributions to stadium articles[edit]

Flags in infoboxes[edit]

Please do not re-post what another editor was reverted without a good explanation. You restored a flag in place of birth in the infobox in Brazil national football team even though it was pointed to you it is strongly deprecated by Wikipedia. Please read WP:FLAGS#Not_for_use_in_locations_of_birth_and_death. Happy wiking. Alexf(Talk/Contribs) 11:25, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Why do you keep adding Canadian Junior Football League, Quebec Junior Football League, etc. to the template? Aren't these amateur leagues? The template is for professional football leagues. heqs ·:. 19:00, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flagicons[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. You may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did to Gene Simmons, makes it harder to read. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Please read WP:MOSFLAG before adding flagicons to any more Wikipedia pages. Specifically read WP:MOSFLAG#Not for use in locations of birth and death. Thank you, Aspects (talk) 11:52, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tascha96, I see you are doing a lot of work adding flag icons to American Revolutionary War. These are likely to only be reverted again -- not by me (I happen to think the flags enhance the article), but perhaps I can save you some wasted effort there and on other pages. Please see Jan. 6 edit summaries for the recent history. Hertz1888 (talk) 19:53, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Red links[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Oxford City Stars, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Specifically you should only create red links if you know that articles will be created for them soon. -- JD554 (talk) 11:09, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect flags[edit]

Please be aware that WP:MILMOS#FLAGS prohibits the use of anachronistic flag icons in military history articles. You have, in many cases, added flags that that were not adopted until centuries after the events described in the article; please avoid doing so. Thanks! Kirill 21:24, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider writing something on this article, or it will be tagged for emptiness, and possibly deleted. Basketball110 the pages I've messed up completely 05:10, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:IronMaidenFirstAlbumOriginal.jpg[edit]

Image:IronMaidenFirstAlbumOriginal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Two little ducks[edit]

Are you sure that Sam is smarter than Rafael? I think its vice versa. Tony the tiger like rubix cubes with mustard, you know, and he hates silverware. Don't mention Jack and the stock market, please! Enough with the beans, I've already spilled them! Copyright verifiable GFLD, anyways. Is this a compatible license? Didn't your mommy tell you not to 'tip of a pencil' (she also said not to mention the word). Step on a cheese burger, break your mother's back, while Red Robinson sings the Halifax song at red robin with Ronald the bunny. Didn't you forget your emblem at school? Violate your copyright, you inconsiderable troll. Insert it. Would you like to make a reference? Did you know astrophysical, the word, was mentioned on Friday by someone other than me in my class? Did you know someone in the world has TWO legs? Is this world crazy? Does this meet Wikipedia's quality standards? If not, tell Jacky Chan I am not going to eat a sign that says HP on it. Instead I will play with an imaginary jaywalker that is a lumberman's yogurt nonstarter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tsp greenday (talkcontribs) 05:38, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just a friendly reminder when linking to an internal page, please make sure it links to the correct page. Morlon Greenwood[edit]

Regarding your recent edit to Morlon Greenwood, using flags along with birth place is a violation of the policy WP:FLAG. I see you've been told about this policy before, so please look it over and refrain from making edits that violate it. Thanks.►Chris NelsonHolla! 01:59, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sebastian Clovis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced BLP.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Tascha96! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 944 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Amariah Farrow - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Korey Banks - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Central Football League (American football) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is mostly a list of redlinks and a template. No sources, questionalble notability, unreferenced, and "External lins" section points only to pages on the web that are down.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Vancouver Wikipedia 10th Anniversary Meetup[edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
