Draft:John C. Greene[edit]

Hello! I saw your draft Draft:John C. Greene. In general, it looks great! One thing that will make your life easier when writing and editing articles is that you can name and reuse references rather than typing them out a million times. I've gone through and done that through the article with a single reference, but I think you can easily follow that format to clean up the rest of them.

Additionally, using just a URL as a citation is considered bad practice due to link rot (click that link to learn more). This is not just an academic exercise, currently over 130,000 articles have dead links on them (i.e. links that have been moved and discontinued), making verifying the information on those pages incredibly challenging. To avoid that and to avoid causing problems down the line, it would be great if you could add more information to each of your references. I'd recommend using the {{cite web}} template to organize your references. You can see documentation for the template here, or just look around at other pages for examples of how to use the template (e.g. Dentistry).

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know or ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE. Happy editing! Ajpolino (talk) 19:03, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, thank you so much! I will definitely try that next time I write about another topic I consider worthy of wikipedia. I was thinking how to reduce all this effort :) --Tecnkaen (talk) 10:09, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Special thanks to you, I have been able to sort the references :) --Tecnkaen (talk) 18:33, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the draft for you (through merging the histories of the draft into the mainspace copy you created). That keeps the line of development in one place, and credits other editors (well, one) that participated in creating the original. I've reverted the edit in the draft where you created a section with more references, I will move that to the talk. Happy editing. --Dirk Beetstra T C 18:43, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wow thanks! And I thought coding wiki html-like language was complicated. hehe :) --Tecnkaen (talk) 18:45, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
