Speedy deletion of IOSYS[edit]

A tag has been placed on IOSYS requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Teh.cmn. Why the notability tag on Foundation Financial Group with so many awards? Is it not a big enough company?Geis0099 (talk) 01:35, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • You may want to read Wikipedia:ORG. Another editor may end up submitting a RfD for notability, personally I think it sits on the borderline and could be a good and informative article with some work. Some tips: -Deorphan the page (ie, find a way to link other articles to it.) -Include some more information on the history, background, management, etc. of the company; -avoid repeating the company name, since it comes off as search engine baiting and/or self promoting, which is not what Wikipedia is for. 188.221.38.195 (talk) 03:09, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Mushi-uta.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Mushi-uta.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:39, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
