WOOT FIRST TOPIC[edit]

Oh hay Epic Metal, it's me Shy Guy. The original wiki failed, as you may know, but someone started a new Madness Wiki in the Wikia format. I've already joined, and if you join, you'll be the fourth member. Who knows, someday we both might be Sysops. And you don't need to worry about JR, he hasn't joined yet, and probably won't. The link is here. I've already joined under the name of TehBenshiGuy. Lastly, please don't join under the name of TehGuy, as there is a chance that he might join. I would like to know, on MadnessWiki you claimed in your religion you are an Atheist but on here, you are Christian, why? YBK

RE: Atheist[edit]

Stop hiding behind usernames like "Epic Metal", your name is Alex (AKA: Mage) I KNOW who you are. YBK NOTE: Please respond to this message HERE

It's not Mage. Trust me, there are certain traits that Mage possesses, and Epic has only like one of them. beside, mage coulnt get thru a sentence without talking like dis, olololol. And I don't know what your on if your accusing Alex of being Mage. Shy Guy Gunzel~Talk 04:31, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mage's real name is Alex, this is Mage, and what are you talking about??? I have all the proof in the world that Epic is Mage. And also there were two Alexs on MadnessWiki and Mage's real name is Alex, the other Alex just went by Alex. YBK

He's not Mage. Chris9086 (talk) 22:13, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No really Krakerz what are you on? You're just being paranoid. Shy Guy Gunzel~Talk 07:19, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why the effing hell would I be this mage dude. 1. I bet he's not a fan of metal now is he?. 2. I got the name Epic metal from metal music, and I heard ppl say "EPIC!" to the songs. And finally, 3. Isn't this mage guy permabanned? -TehGuy (talk)

I am to have no argument with anything. Epic Metal is Mage and I have several reasons and facts and sources, I will have no more argument and I will not be coming back to this page. Anything to do with any external wikis or poor arguments with no facts or sources will not be tolerated by me. YBK

Mate, your really just paranoid. Even if he was Mage, I don't give a fuck anymore. Shy Guy Gunzel~Talk —Preceding undated comment was added at 07:31, 19 October 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:SHO.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SHO.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 17:19, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's a bit obvious that he took it himself, must he say the copyright status as well? Shy Guy Gunzel~Talk 04:32, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:StevenBrett01.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:StevenBrett01.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Orphaned non-free image File:MMITS.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:MMITS.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Speedy deletion of "K.I.D.S"[edit]

A page you created, K.I.D.S, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a song or piece of music, but does not indicate why it is important or significant (and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia) and there is no article about the song's artist. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for music in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Replaceable fair use File:Eligh 02.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Eligh 02.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please remove the tag.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 02:46, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Statik Selektah 001.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Statik Selektah 001.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 00:55, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring, original research[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Please don't start edit wars across multiple articles. If you have sources to back up your claims please present them on talk. Volunteer Marek  20:08, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

IP edits[edit]

If by some chance this is you then please stop abusing multiple accounts to edit war and to engage in revenge-revert harassment. If not, my apologies. Volunteer Marek  14:50, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for sock puppetry. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Notice

The article The Fixtape Vol. 4: Under The Influence has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There are no sources and the album did not chart

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
