Request reason:

I deserve a right to be an editor as much as anyone else. My name is Dr. Robert Towns L.T.D.. I am an assistant to Dr. Schmidt, and I am his personal typist and he is no longer well enough to type for himself. A great injustice has been done, and I deserve to be reinstated.

Decline reason:

Editing Wikipedia is a privilege, not right. We withdraw this privilege from people who disrupt Wikipedia or otherwise violate our policies. In this particular case, I don't see a reason to unblock you, as you used Wikipedia for glorification of a well-known troll (it doesn't really matter if you are him or not) and introducing other kinds of inappropriate edits. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I've asked Jpgordon to look at this. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:13, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More background, murky as it is

User Tennesseetrumpet apparently twice added an article about Dr. Michael Schmidt. The first version was created by Tennesseetrumpet in late September 2007, hijacked in early October 2007 by user Plinkity-plonkity, and deleted shortly thereafter as an attack page. A few hours later, Tennesseetrumpet created a second version, which was soon deleted as non-notable per CSD A7 (deletion log). — Athaenara 06:23, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
