Regarding the links behind the paywall, what do you want me to do about those? How do I go about resolving the 'verification needed' superscript? I would love to get all of these issues sorted asap. Welcome to contributing to Wikipedia! You might want to read the tutorial to help you get started. Concerning the Draft:The Sydney Gangland War (2020s) article, I have tagged the Daily Telegraph (of Sydney) articles as needing verification because these sit behind a paywall and the usual expectation is that citations for articles are free to view. Personally, I am unable to view these articles because I not prepared to pay for the privilege of reading articles from News Corp. if they are not prepared to allow any of their news stories to be archived by the Internet Archive, not even the brief outline that one can see if viewing the article description in the paywall. The tag is there to ask someone else (i.e. an independent third person) to read and verify the news stories concerned. However, there is an additional problem with Daily Telegraph stories, as the newspaper has a reputation for being an unreliable source, so the citations themselves are likely to be problematic. One solution is to find other news sources carrying the same or similar stories. There is existing advice for reliable Australian news sources, including ABC News and the Sydney Morning Herald, among several Australian newspapers and TV news websites. Even News.com.au and Sky News are possibilities that can be viewed without encountering a paywall for every article. If it is really news, you should find multiple sources carrying similar stories about the same events. Sometimes the same story is told by different reporters from different angles. This may help understanding what actually happened. I know it is a pain, but you may be able to find other publications that also carry the stories you have found in the Daily Telegraph. Having an alternative source means you can also triangulate information and pick up things that might be overlooked in a single news report. You should also be bold and see what organisations like the police and courts might publish, rather than just rely on the news media. Those primary sources can be used to support facts such as people's names, the dates of crimes and similar events, without being filtered by the news media reporting. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 06:22, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
