Commons username[edit]

Hi commons guys, please rename my commons account from "Terker" to "Termer". Thanks!--Termer (talk) 21:19, 22 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

You have done an excellent job with this article, I've taken the liberty of nominating it for DYK [1]. Martintg (talk) 19:34, 28 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

I am sory, colleague that I had to revert your reasonable contribution. However wikipedia articles must be consistent with each other. I am kind of in a hury now, but yor description is contradictive. Hint: see the tricky hierarhy of Uralic_languages. `'Míkka>t 17:06, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can't believe anybody would delete referenced facts because it is not matching an unreferenced article. --Termer (talk) 17:27, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can't believe you are calling the big and obviously maintained article "Uralic languages" unreferenced. Anyway please don't consider that I have done so out of some animosity or stubbornness. `'Míkka>t 21:58, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if you can't believe me why don't you look at the article and add any refs to the claims that are made over there. What needs to be pointed out at first about this so called obviously maintained article is the use of the term "Finno-Lappic" that's been banned for a while as considered derogatory to the Sami.--Termer (talk) 08:57, 30 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

I agree with you, but meta:copyright paranoia is strong and annoying, and honestly as long as the image is there I prefer not to kick over an anthill that may result when we try to change the tag.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 05:55, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm not after this tag. I'm after sorting out the entire thing to use the EU 50 broadcasting-film tag on other images and then later perhaps replace the one over there. And I definitely don't think it has been about copyright paranoia. The image is clearly in PD in the US so attempts to delete it have been motivated clearly by other reasons if you know what I mean.--Termer (talk) 07:52, 10 December 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Question[edit]

Hello. During my university duties I researched the impact of right-wing nationalist groups on the European countries of Interwar Period. In Estonia, there was a group called Veterans' Movement which was the utmost internal threat to the democratic principles of the country. Problem is I can't find article about this group on English Wikipedia. Is there any? Thanks. - Darwinek (talk) 18:42, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, it seems you're referring to Vaps Movement.--Termer (talk) 03:38, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ugandi[edit]

Hi Termer, there is someone playing around with Ugandi [2] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Martintg (talkcontribs) 19:45, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tere.

Please do not play around with the article by adding fake infoboxes that have made up flags and states on it. Thanks!--Termer (talk) 10:56, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent checkuser request[edit]

You recently submitted a request for checkuser. A clerk has moved your request to Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser#Non-compliant temporarily; this does not mean the request has necessarily been accepted or rejected, as clerks are generally concerned with maintenance and upkeep, not making decisions on the merit of any given request. Please visit the case page for more details, and then follow the instructions in the box at the top of Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser#Non-compliant. Thank you for your co-operation. I have placed the user who you said was the Sockpuppeters block log on the page. From what I have seen, code letter F is not appropriate for this issue. If you wish to, please comment further on WP:RFCU. -- Whiteandnerdy111 (talk) 20:40, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
