Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Firstgameteamphoto.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:First Game team Photo.jpg. The copy called Image:First Game team Photo.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Independant schools Barbarians[edit]

I've written on both the admins talk pages who deleted your article. The deletion was totally unwarranted. Let's hope we prevail! Paste (talk) 22:02, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Independent Schools Barbarians[edit]

I deleted the article because it didn't make clear how the subject was notable enough for Wikipedia. It made clear that the club exists and how they were formed, but that is not enough. It needs to become clear from the article what makes them notable. The relevant notability guidelines are WP:N and WP:ORG. Simply being an interesting development is not enough. If you disagree with the deletion, you may request a deletion review. If you need help with this, you can leave a message on my talk page and I will help you out. Paste has asked for a deletion review of Independent Schools Barbarians. Since you wrote the article or were otherwise interested in the article, you might want to participate in the deletion review.Paste (talk) 22:22, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Barbarians Rose.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Barbarians Rose.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:29, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated Independent Schools Barbarians, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Independent Schools Barbarians and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:44, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Firstgameteamphoto.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Firstgameteamphoto.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. MER-C 10:38, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Files missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media files you uploaded as:

are missing a description and/or other details on their image description pages. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the images, and they will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the images may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 08:29, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The file File:Firstgame2.jpeg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused, low-res, no obvious use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:22, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
