Johnathan Len moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Johnathan Len, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 11:41, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your input. I am a fan of Johnathan Len that has followed him for over a year. When his latest song hit the top 40 on a national chart, I thought that along with his other accomplishments would give him the notability to be on Wikipedia. As a retired computer programmer, I thought it would be fun and interesting to get involved.
I would appreciate help in resolving the COI concerns, I am definitely not getting paid. Do I just need to add the {{connected contributor}} section describing my relationship as a fan?
I edited articles in the music category so I could see what/who was on Wikipedia and what their accomplishments were and how the articles were written. After doing that I believe he has met the notability requirements. I included citations to reliable news organizations supporting his accomplishments and kept it in a neutral point of view.
Any suggestions to improve this article and make it ready for mainspace would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Well, there are indications you are slightly more than just a fan, but you definitely need to add the connected contributor label. Now, about the article, you need to make sure everything is cited, and those refs need to be from independent, reliable sources. Right now, the entire life section is uncited. After that, you should submit it for review through the AfC process. Onel5969 TT me 17:43, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
