Natalie Portman is Asian. Her ethnicity is irrelevant to the page[edit]

I saw your post on the talk page and I don't know why you think that Natalie can't be included in the list. Look at the lede of the article: "This is a list of Academy Award winners and nominees who are from Asia i.e. who are nationals of a country situated in Asia (this includes people with dual citizenship)." Just because America's definition of "Asian" only includes people from East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia and many in America would not consider her as being "Asian", doesn't negate the fact that Israel is in considered an Asian country. If she was in Canada, she could be considered Asian Canadian, as their definition of "Asian" includes West Asians (see West Asian Canadians). But that's beyond the point.

She has every right to be on the list. Of course, because she's ultimately of European origin, she couldn't be included on the List of Academy Award winners and nominees of Asian descent page, but there's nothing wrong with her being on the List of Asian Academy Award winners and nominees, the page that you commented on.
