This draft is written as an inquiry into the origins of the Lawati people, rather than in the style of Wikipedia, which is to focus on what others have written about the origins of the Lawati people. "The Lawati people are a prominent, highly respected community in Oman" in the lede sentence may be true, but should not be stated in the voice of Wikipedia, because it is peacock language.
