Your username and editing intentions[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia.

Would you care to explain your intentions for editing Wikipedia under this username, please? It's a rather interesting username, just on the fringes of attracting a softblock from me or maybe another administrator for breaching our username policy (WP:USERNAME) by referencing a controversial topic which some might find promotional and offensive (bullet 1 of WP:DISRUPTNAME) and also for suggesting a multiple user account (WP:SHAREDACCOUNT) - about 1.4 billion potential users (according to this page!).

This note is just to say that by choosing that username, and by the content of your userpage, you have probably managed to draw extra attention to yourself. So please be aware that multiple editors will no doubt now be watching your edits rather more closely than normal in order to ascertain your purpose in contributing here, including me. I realise this might all be just a humorous and innocent act, but should you wish to choose a less controversial username to edit under, you may simply abandon this account, forget the password, and create a new account name. Providing you only use one account to edit from, this is acceptable. Nick Moyes (talk) 22:27, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

May 2020: Culture of Taiwan[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Quisqualis. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Quisqualis (talk) 02:01, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

May 2020[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "The United Kingdom of China and Taiwan", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because .. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you.
