Nicoleta[edit]

Cum îi cheamă pe părinţii ei? Ce fac sau făceau ca meserie? Câţi fraţi are şi cum îi cheamă? Biruitorul 23:11, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Informatii personale[edit]

The Vindictive 07:07, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Biruitorul 20:40, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I'll try to include it. Any suggestion? The Vindictive 20:46, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Her mother, Ana, is a former teacher. She has two older brothers, Dragoş and Mihai." Şi mai târziu, "She married Vasile Pop in 2004; the couple has one daughter, Maria." Cam atât cred că ar ajunge. Biruitorul 22:21, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Există un buton la stânga, "E-mail this user". Oricum, e sdpr6560 la yahoo punct com. Biruitorul 20:17, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New version[edit]

As far as I can see, the article is pretty much the same. A mere glimpse over it reaveals that: it does not have a neutral voice, and it provides info that I am sure you have first-hand knowledge of, but has never before been published. Dahn 19:32, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DYK[edit]

Updated DYK query On December 12, 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Spray towers, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Hello The Vindictive - GeeJo kindly nominated this article of yours for DYK - feel free to self-nom in future like the majority of our entries - keep up the great work! Blnguyen (bananabucket) 04:38, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'm very busy with my job, I work till very late in the night, unfortunately most of the times, I don't have time to explore the possibilities of this great encyclopedia. But you are the ones "that anybody can edit", so you can help the others who don't really have so much spare time. Whenever I find some time, I'll work on the air pollution area. Thanks once again. Help[edit]

Could you please help me (to give me the links in Wikipedia) in creating a small page of mine (like yours)? Are you an admin? Thanks. The Vindictive 17:58, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean my user page? Here is info on how to use your user page. You can get started by looking at the source to my page. You may wish to add "Babel boxes" to show people which languages you speak (Romanian?). To start your user page, click this link and put your text there. I'm not an admin, but I'm a fairly knowledgeable Wikipedian. --Dgies 18:47, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure if you have my talk page watchlisted. Have your seen my response? --Dgies 20:37, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is better to use metric units[edit]

Dragos: I notice that in the Liquid-to-gas ratio article you used the units "gallons per acfm". My country, the United States, is the only nation on the planet that still uses such units. There are many younger engineers in the rest of the world who are completely unfamiliar with cubic feet or gallons.

You will find that it is much better to use metric units on Wikipedia. I would advise you to change "gallons per acfm" to "liters per actual cubic meters per minute". Regards, - mbeychok 03:19, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it's quite weird because I come from a country where the metric system has always been used. Maybe because in my job I use these units quite a lot and the original researchers used these units as well. I will do the change but you are also free to edit it, with the mention that I think it's better to keep both values (the metric units in parentheses, so to give credit to the original researchers as well). The Vindictive 09:59, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that including both values is perfectly okay. However, did you mean to say Nm³ (which is at 0 °C and 1 bar) or did you mean to say actual m³ just as you did for acfm? - mbeychok 16:29, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actual m3, definitely. The Vindictive 08:22, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response to your question on my mbeychok discussion page[edit]

Dragos: My Discussion page has my response to your question. - mbeychok 16:20, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How to create a new category[edit]

Dragos, see my talk page for response to your question about red categories. From now on, I will assume that you have my Talk page on your Watchlist and I will answer you questions there without posting a notification here. Regards, - mbeychok 19:39, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dragos, see my response in Talk:Dust collector that you requested. - mbeychok 20:42, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some helpful items (I hope)[edit]

Dragos, I have two suggestions that may be helpful to you:

  • Create a personal sandbox page named like User:The Vindictive/The Vindictive sandbox <== all you need to do is click on this red link. Then enter anything into the Edit box, scroll down to the Summary box and write Creating my sandbox, and press Save Page. Finally, put a link to that page at the top of your user page so you can get to the sandbox easily. Do not assign it to any category.
    • Now, whenever you want to write a new article, you can create it in your sandbox and play with it to your heart's content until you have perfected it. Then you can go ahead and copy it into a newly created page and assign it some categories. When that is done, you can delete everything from your sandbox and it is ready to use for your next project. When working in the sandbox and making changes, you don't have to write anything into the Edit Summary box except a space (just press the space bar) and then Save the page or Preview the page.
    • Whenever you want to add or extensively rewrite a section of an existing article, copy the existing article into your sandbox and work on it until you are satisfied with it. Then copy and paste it into the existing article (first deleting sections of the existing article if you need to). Using your sandbox this way avoids creating conflicts with edits someone else may be making to the article at the same time you are.
  • Look at my User:Mbeychok/MRB's storage sandbox where I store stuff that helps me use Wikipedia. You might also want to create a storage sandbox for a similar purpose. You are free to copy some of my stuff if you wish ... and that is best done by copying from the Edit page.

I hope that you will find the above to be helpful. - mbeychok 00:00, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing[edit]

In addition to my response (on my Talk page) to your last batch of questions, you might find this useful:

On any article's page, on the left-hand side, you can scroll down to "Toolbox" and then click on "What links here". That will list every article, every redirect page and every talk page linked to the article. That may be of help at times. - mbeychok 21:11, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My revision to some of your articles[edit]

I have been through 3-4 of your articles and made a number of revisions. Please read all of my brief "edit summary" remarks and also my Discussion page explanations at Talk:Venturi scrubber and Talk:Wet scrubber. I did not change any of the substantive content ... just made improvements in wording and changes to "Wikify" the articles. - mbeychok 05:40, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!!![edit]

Dragos: Thanks very, very much for the Barnstar. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness!!! Best regards, Milt - mbeychok 21:01, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, don't thank me, thank yourself. The barnstar is just a small acknowledgment of your great work, not a compliment, you deserve it. I have checked your page thoroughly for the first time yesterday and I was absolutely enchanted and overwhelmed by the number of articles and the time you have invested in Wikipedia so far. Keep on the good work. The Vindictive 07:33, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Read my response to you on my Talk page about merging Pollutant into Pollution[edit]

Dragos, it is very important that you read my response to your latest comment on my Talk page. There once was (in 2006) a proposal to merge Externality into Pollution which was opposed and then deleted. - mbeychok 16:38, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mea culpa!!! The Vindictive 16:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Adenvis Ltd.[edit]

A tag has been placed on Adenvis Ltd. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rob Banzai (talk) 16:05, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Ralu26.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned image, no context to determine possible future encyclopedic use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --TheImaCow (talk) 20:10, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
