Thanks for reverting my change on the Bob Geldof Page, and being mild about it (understood you search for vandals too, me not deemed one in this case, so that is kinda nice). Pretty obvious now i read it, dunno what was going on in that head of mine at that point, mostly do nothing if not sure, not always i guess. Ok, so, it seems that one should not load in mediawiki.config because the .done/.then callback is never called for some reason (could be that it's already loaded). IDK, I'll poke around and make sure I didn't do something similar elsewhere. -- The Voidwalker ^Whispers 01:52, 24 July 2017 (UTC)

Slakr's Lightning Award For being amazingly fast to create a useful script to help a fellow editor (i.e., User:The_Voidwalker/alwaysEditSectionLink.js), I hereby award you some lightning that I got from my buddy Thor. Just be sure you ground yourself before you shake hands with anyone—especially if they have a pacemaker. ...on second thought, just stay away from old people altogether. Probably infants, too. ...oh and electronics. ...which kind of defeats the purpose of this award, now that I think of it. Well, crap. I guess worst case you can just eBay it or something? Steel Tree (Build-Grow)

Hello! I removed the contents of Steel Tree/ Build Grow because one of my students moved it from her sandbox to create a new article when it belonged as an edit in Richard Hunt (sculptor) page. I wrote to ask how to remove the article completely but my student was so upset that her unedited essay was live that I calmed her down by removing the content. Hi there Mvendryes! I realized shortly after what was going on, but unfortunately was called away for real life situations. I had intended on moving the page back to the student's sandbox, but didn't have the time. It seems as though the situation was handled in the meantime. In future situations, should a student not wish for their work to be live, simply have them blank the content themselves. The page can then be tagged with {{db-user}}. Hello, The Voidwalker. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hello The Voidwalker,

Your scripts User:The Voidwalker/falsePositiveHelper.js and User:The Voidwalker/rfaStatsUpdater.js are no longer functional because they attempt to get an editToken from mw.user.tokens. The scripts should instead get a csrfToken. editTokens were removed from mw.user.tokens on October 3, 2019 at Phabricator during this edit as they were redundant to csrfTokens.– BrandonXLF (talk) 00:06, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

Hi, just to let you know that I fixed a cross-site scripting vulnerability in User:The Voidwalker/alwaysEditSectionLink.js. If an attacker created a page where the title contains certain JavaScript code, that code would get run as the user running the script. Let me know if you want more details about how it might have been exploited. I've fixed the vulnerability by assembling the edit source link using JQuery instead of string concatenation.
