Proposed deletion of File:Madonna deeper and deeper.jpg

The file File:Madonna deeper and deeper.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Screenshot of women eating bananas, which in July 2015 replaced the prior screenshot using the same file name, already conveyed in free text, even with just one academic Georges-Claude Guilbert's comparison of the banana-eating scene to the cover art of The Velvet Underground & Nico. Possibly fails WP:FREER. Also, despite Guilbert's comparisons, the screenshot doesn't illustrate contextual significance to the whole music video or the whole song, neither of which is primarily about what is depicted in the screenshot.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
