Welcome![edit]

Hello, TheoFraser1, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I noticed that the article Atomico appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! ––FormalDude (talk) 10:35, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for responding, I also wanted to know how to appeal a block? I am using my work laptop to edit, so naturally I have to use a VPN, but this VPN means that I am blocked from editing TheoFraser1 (talk) 13:25, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You need to login to your Wikipedia account on your work laptop in order to get around the block. ––FormalDude (talk) 13:54, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid this is still coming up with a block :/ TheoFraser1 (talk) 14:28, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is generally not permitted to use a VPN while making edits, as vandals and spammers use them to evade detection and blocking. If you need an exception to this, please follow the instructions at WP:IPECPROXY to contact a checkuser. 331dot (talk) 21:11, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

______

I have put a draft of the article for Atomico with the factual edits made in the talk page for atomico. How long will it take before I can expect a response? Thank you

You won't get a response unless you mark that section as a formal edit request(click for instructions). I see you declared a COI, but you must make the stricter paid editing disclosure. 331dot (talk) 16:00, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I put the proper template on the article talk page, you just need to make the user page disclosure. 331dot (talk) 16:02, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
