Hi Theonlyedge, I was wondering if you can remove the AfD as per Samaritan because its just inappropriate, since there was an AfD already. thx. Blink484 20:49, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - regarding Age of Empires IV - since I proposed deleting it, I've just noticed that it was deleted before by unanimous agreement - see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Age of Empires IV. This new article is basically the same as that one that was deleted - it doesn't address any of the issues that people raised. Policy says that recreations of previously-deleted content can be deleted right away (see item number 4 under the General section of WP:CSD). So I'm afraid I'm going to do that - I apologize.

A friendly suggestion - I hope you don't mind. In the future, one key way to make sure articles you create will be kept is to cite your sources - give links, names of magazine articles, or books, about the subject you're writing about. If no such sources are available, you should consider whether the subject is appropriate (se Wikipedia:Verifiability, to start). CDC (talk) 23:40, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Off the Crossbar[edit]

I see you wrote an article on Off the Crossbar. This article should be deleted. This is a blatant attempt to advertise a new book. No need for that on wikipedia --69.158.183.217 03:47, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shefman AfD[edit]

Hey, some trouble maker recently nominated the Alan Shefman article for deletion. This is despite the fact that the community had previously agreed that all members of Vaughan City Council are entitled to Wiki Articles. I'd appreciate if you voted to keep in order to maintain the integrity of the Vaughan Council series of articles. pm_shef 05:11, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Getting started[edit]

I saw your comment on Essjay's page. The Wikipedia:Introduction is a good start. What are you thinking about regarding getting started? Kd4ttc 05:12, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I watch The National often. Keith Boag is addressed more as chief political correspondent, rather than Ottawa bureau chief. SNIyer12, 15:52, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re : Off the Crossbar[edit]

The abovementioned article was nominated for deletion on 4 March 2006, and the result of the debate was to delete the article (5 delete only). This is in accordance to the deletion policy. - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 22:34, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unsepthexium[edit]

Image:Ununsepthexium.gif listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded, Image:Ununsepthexium.gif, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

This element has never been made and so the caption is completely misleading. This is just a decorative image of some sort. Choess 22:16, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please see also Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Elements#Elements beyond Rg, which suggests that it's better not to create individual articles for the higher, unproduced transuranic elements. Choess 22:25, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unsepthexium[edit]

This element does exist. It doesn't matter that its name follows the standard nomenclature--after all, what else could it be called. Your reson for deletion is insufficient, and this should not be deleted.

PS: how did you get this article so fast? I only wrote it 5 minutes ago? Theonlyedge 21:58, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have proposed it for deletion. You can contest that by just removing the {{prod}} tag. See also Special:Newpages. Stifle 22:38, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've resubmitted the article for deletion; see Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Unsepthexium. If you believe this element has been created, please supply sources to confirm that - this would be major scientific news, so that shouldn't be difficult. Otherwise, you'll need to explain why this particular not-yet-created element is notable enough to merit its own article. --Calair 00:16, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AFD second nomination[edit]

Hi, if you wish to nominate an article for a second time, you can use "{{subst:afdx|2nd}}" to place a notice at the top of the page (e.g. instead of "{{subst:afd}}". Follow the instructions under "Show". This will make an entirely separate discussion, that doesn't interfere with the first, as is the case at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Simon Strelcheck. --Rob 22:57, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We don't reopen the original page if a previously AFD'd article is nominated for a second kick at the can; we start a separate page and merely provide a link to the original debate. I've already moved your nomination to a new page, so don't worry about it — but for next time, be aware that you should follow Rob's advice above rather than reopening the original AFD page. User page protection[edit]

I semi-protected your user page from new and unregistered users to stop the addition of the unwarranted sockpuppet tag. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 23:38, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry[edit]

It is alleged that you are a sockpuppet of Pm_shef. There are two pending requests to CheckUser to confirm this. They can be found here and here. In the meantime, an allegation of sockpuppetry page will be added to your userpage. Leotardo 20:55, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sock Nonsense[edit]

  • Ya, I noticed, and I've been tempted to respond a couple times, but decided that to respond would just be to legitimize their nonsense. I submitted the checkuser request for a reason, so that these stupid claims stopped. Their so called "evidence" doesn't even hold up, I mean, the only thing we edit in common is federal vaughan stuff and at that, really only Strelcheck's article, and both of us have so many other edits on totally random topics. Anyways, my plan is just to continue ignoring them, and to just go to WP:ANI whenever they start badgering me again. Hopefully we can continue to work together once this is all over. - pm_shef 03:27, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What you also have in common is identical IP addresses and the same names: Corey.
Theonlyedge/Pm_shef: There is a pending investigation on your use of sockpuppets on Checkuser, and an allegation of sockpuppetry has been compiled here. It is inappropriate for you or others to remove the sockpuppet tag. Whoever removes the tag next will be reported to the Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents (AN/I). I promise this. Also, I would advise you to remove your name from the AfD you created, for it is inappropriate for a failed nominator to nominate again. If you do this, there will be no problems. Leotardo 08:49, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Afd's[edit]

Heh, you don't have to be an Admin to nominate a page -- see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion to start an Afd on Rationales . . . If you do it, I will support the Afd. Cheers. Morton devonshire 06:20, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
