I've been having some weird issues with talk items not showing up. I assume I have some weird code issue, so I'm moving things over here and opening up the talk page to new stuff. Thmazing (talk) 00:20, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 28[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Harry Jepson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eric Grothe (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Niekro brothers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unreferenced and very little information

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Advent calednar[edit]

Hello Thmazing,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Advent calednar for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Lockley (talk) 04:51, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's weird. What happened to the redirect? Thmazing (talk) 17:23, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikify notice[edit]

Hi, just to let you know that the Template:Wikify tag has now been deprecated. Please use Template:underlinked or Template:dead end from now on, cheers. Delsion23 (talk) 17:40, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kent[edit]

Aww. You made a page for Kent! Katya (talk) 23:32, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Kent Larsen. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:19, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kent Larsen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No independent and reliable references in the article. Refs goto blog sites where he submits articles. "Publishing ventures" and "Online ventures" are misleading as it includes place he as worked at in the past and currently works for or owns.

Don't use bigotry for an excuse[edit]

With this comment, "Also worth replying to is your sister's-blog comment. Best I can tell, you're not terribly familiar with the Mormon ghetto of Wikipedia, because I doubt you would make that comment about a book review on Gawker or BoingBoing which are also blogs. If I could be so bold, do some link-following around Mormon articles."

I am Mormon. Don't assume anything about anyone. Saying "you're not terribly familiar with the Mormon ghetto of Wikipedia, because I doubt you would make that comment" implies there is bigotry in Wikipedia and I'm a bigot. I've been told on Wikipedia that I'm a Democrat, Republican, Jew, Gay, not Gay, Mormon, not Mormon, American, or an English speaker, so I have an agenda and I don't know any better. You lost any sympathy I may have had once you used the bigot card. I'm done dealing with you and responding to you. Bgwhite (talk) 18:38, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize. I made an assumption that seemed to follow from what you said and, honestly, I'm not sure what your being Mormon or not has to do with whether you know a lot about Mormon articles. I did a brief scan of discussions on this page before making the comment and it didn't seem like a topic you frequently engage in. I am not trying to antagonize you. Please stop interpreting me as baiting you. I am not. WP:GOODFAITH Thmazing (talk) 23:11, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Note: the above was crossposted on Bgwhite's talk page, which explains the "this page" part of my comment. Thmazing (talk) 23:12, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Aaaaaand he erased it with the explanations I don't deal with bigotry. Classy. Thmazing (talk) 19:05, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Little bit o sandbox[edit]

.

I need to look around a bit more before being sure this is worthy of its own article.

(here)

Cinamon Hadley is a model and musician based in Houston, Texas.

Cinamon "Sin" Hadley with Mike Dringenberg

A native of Salt Lake City, Hadley was the visual inspiration for the character Death in Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Gaiman had originally intended that the character resemble Nico as she appeared on her album Chelsea Girl, but artist Mike Dringenberg, living in Salt Lake at the time, instead based the character on Hadley.[1] by Madelyn Boudreaux, SLUG Magazine, May 2011, accessed Oct. 25, 2012.
