NPOV[edit]

Hi. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy before continuing edits such as those you've made to Abraham Lincoln and Southern United States. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 19:57, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Abraham Lincoln. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:31, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Abraham Lincoln, you will be blocked from editing. -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:37, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalize? excuse me? Lincoln was not a strict follower of the Constitution, which is why I removed that obvious falsehood from this wikipedia entry on him. He suspended habeas corpus, violated the freedom of the press by shutting down newspapers and threatening dissenting coumnists, disrupted protests with violence, and the list goes on.

This article is obviously leaving out many facts and making baseless statements about Lincoln in order to portray him in a more positive light. Flattering language usage is not constructive to the nuetrality you claim to support and the addition of historical events that pertain to this article is not in violation of that nuetrality.

I am attempting to balance this article by providing more than facts that are conveniant to Lincoln proponents. Wikipedia is not a place where criticisms and complete representation of facts should be cencored. As such, I will not give in to your threats. Thank you. -ThorsMitersaw

I would like to respectfully say that this vandalism warning was wholly uncalled for. Thanks and all the best. Gwen Gale 16:54, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
