Edit warring[edit]

Hi Tj363! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. The WP:ONUS is on you to gain consensus for the edit on the Yale talk page. These colors come from a database. I have requested the Yale hex code be changed there. Repeatedly reverting edits is not how you gain consensus on WP. glman (talk) 20:43, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not requesting the hex code to be changed. Our request is for the removal of the color White. There are number of individuals from the Yale community, football team, communications team, the athletic department, Alumni, and University offices who are asking the change to be made. You seem like you have more experience in this, if you don't mind answering, where can I provide information about this so that the edit goes through?
