Question[edit]

Nice! But do you know of one which says, for example, 23:00 instead of 11:00 PM? Thanx. - Hordaland (talk) 03:52, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nice box! It would be awesome if its in 24h though. Also, how to add something like +05:30? Rehman (talk) 10:00, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Your time zone feature is amazing, but how can I add a thing like that if I have a time zone of UTC+5:30. Please help me back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smtchahal (talkcontribs) 11:02, 25 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Same Question[edit]

Hi,

I have the same question.... In my country is GMT -4:30... I tested with "-4.5", "-4,5" and "-4:30" but none worked. Do you know what can I do?

Thanks! Arussom (talk) 20:39, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again,
I still have the problem... Can somebody help me?
Thanks! Arussom (talk) 13:18, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
I still have the same problema... Please, help!
Thanks Arussom (talk) 19:28, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I created my own time-showing Userbox here that supports time zones such as UTC-4:30 and UTC+5:30. In your case, you just have to place {{User:Smtchahal/Userboxes/Time|-4|30}} on your user page. I hope you'll find it useful. — smtchahal(talkcontribs) 10:44, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks!! It worked perfectly... but I have to use it like this: {{User:Smtchahal/Userboxes/Time|-4|-30}}
Arussom (talk) 20:08, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for figuring that out! I would never have known that the minutes part also needed to be negated for negative time zones had you not pointed it out... — smtchahal 06:53, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I just found a better version of time-indicating userbox, which is probably the best I've ever seen. You should check it out.
The best thing about the userbox is that it automatically adjusts the time according to Daylight Saving Time depending on your time zone. And it also has various other options, so you can customize it for yourself.
If you want it to show your time in 24-hour clock, your code would be {{User:Thayts/Userboxes/DST in user time zone|VET}}. If you want it to show your time in 12-hour clock, the code would be {{User:Thayts/Userboxes/DST in user time zone|VET|12h=yes}}. Check the documentation of the userbox if you want to customize it further. — smtchahal 05:02, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Corrected my stupid typos :D — smtchahal 05:08, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And again... — smtchahal 05:11, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is currently 6 June 2024 where this user lives.

How do you make this in 24 hour time?[edit]

Just wondering if there's a way to get this in 24h time, since that's the style I prefer. SHB2000 (talk) 03:56, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
