LA-area meetup[edit]

XHTML syntax[edit]
Hi, I've noticed that you've been formatting the image captions for various California governors, and I'd like to point out two things. Fristly, the <br> tag is not an enclosing tag, thus takes the stadard single tag form of <br/>, not an enclosing form, e.g. <br>blah</br>. Secondly, Wikipedia encourages (X)HTML tags to be avoided whenever possible, thus the use of three quotation marks, e.g. '''bold text''' is preferred over <b></b> tags. Thanks. Oh, and while I personally find the new formatting to be better, some Wikipedians may oppose it, due to issues of consistency, redundancy and accessibility. Samu Sunim[edit]
You added the following to the Buddhism in America article about Samu Sunim: "He died in 2004 at the age of 77." I believe that Sunim is now 64 and I'm pretty sure he's still alive. What is your source for this? - Nat Krause 7 July 2005 09:43 (UTC)

If you do not provide a source and copyright information for Image:The monkey king.jpg, it may be deleted. Why do you keep uploading images that are either outright copyright violations or lacking in copyright information, when it's clearly against Wikipedia policy to do so? Repeated violations of Wikipedia policy constitute vandalism, and if you do not stop, you could be blocked or banned. Thanks for uploading Image:Hellgreenback.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
