Welcome![edit]

Hello, Tlualhati, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:12, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

The nature of your edits at Sam Brown (military) indicates that you have a conflict of interest related to this subject. If you are working for Brown, you are required to disclose this fact. Even if you aren't working for him, you must still adhere to a neutral point of view regarding this and all other topics at Wikipedia. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:50, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey WikiDan -
Thank you for pointing this out to me. I am a first time user and I helping my colleague Sam Brown edit his wiki page.
Since this is a COI - how do I edit the page to also reflect the NPOV? Tlualhati (talk) 21:55, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since you are personally acquainted with, and are helping, Mr Brown, your best course of action is to request edits at Talk:Sam Brown (military). Be clear about the information you would like to see changed or added, and be prepared to provide reliable sources to verify the changes. And remember, Brown has his own website on which he can expound his political positions. His Wikipedia biography is not the place to do so. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 00:01, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
