Hello, I am just sending you a note that I really feel that you have caused some issues with the lead you have added to the Patriot Act article. For what its worth, I strongly disagree with the incredibly short lead you added. I was the primary author for much of this article. In fact, it completely goes against what WP:LEAD actually says, which is:

The lead should stand on its own as a concise overview of the article's topic. It should identify the topic, establish context, explain why the topic is notable, and summarize the most important points, including any prominent controversies.

It would be good if you could find a way to summarise these things into the lead section. Bullet points in a lead section is... not cool either. - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 05:19, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
