Regarding your AfC submission, Draft:Thomas O'Hara (Fine Artist)[edit]

Greetings. First of all, I would need clarification if the artist, Mr. Thomas O'Hara has hired you/given you the task to write about him. If so, you will have to declare that you are paid to write about him or on behalf of him on Wikipedia. I asked this because of this line: Thomas O'Hara as given me to write this article about him due is recent recognition of his visual artist practice. It is quite incoherent to me and I do not understand what you mean by that line. You would have to clarify with me again on this.

Now, Wikipedia is guided by a set of rules. All Wikipedian articles must be provided with reliable sources. For more guidance and information, please click on the blue hyperlinks on the declination banner on your submission page. Articles must get sources from mainstream publications, newspapers, major magazines, weekly flashes and/or books. Since your topic is an artist, you could source for Art related magazines or weeklies. Moreover, the references you use must be independent sources - that is, no passing mentions, no sources directly connected to the organisation, and no press releases. Sources which are independent and not directly affiliated with the subject. User-generated content like Facebook and blogs/forums are also not allowed.

It also appears that the whole section of your "Early life and education" is totally not inclined with citation. Since this is a BLP (biography of living person), it is essential that every point and fact and sentence is inclined with citation. Why? Because when factual conflict arises, your inclined citation will be the evidence to defend the facts you write.

I hope I have answered your questions. Anymore enquiries are most welcome on my talkpage. You can also ping me here. Cheers and happy editing. EROS message 05:10, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
