Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Lousiana: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Hi, thanks to add warnings on the vandal's Talk page whenever you revert, that normally helps to track the number of vandalous edits before ARV. Human sacrifice[edit]

Thuggee is not a Human sacrifice, nor Sati is any Human sacrifice, sati was done by the women for escaping from the islamic invaders, who used to rape women. And Thuggee cult only loot people, steal, and then kill, it wouldn't sacrifice itself, stop reverting. Discuss, before reverting, if you have any reason. Recent edits regarding Poles/Slavs[edit]

Hey, I've noticed you are editing a few articles and making several new sections in talk pages regarding Nazis and Slavs. The reason a lot of your edits are being reverted is because they are already covered in the article or are not necessary to add into an article.

For example:

"The Nazis because of this declared Slavs to be untermenschen (subhumans)." is what is in the article but you wanted to edit "The Nazi ideology defined ethnic Poles as "sub-humans"." when Poles are Slavs and this is already mentioned in the article.

I do apologise for removing all of your edit regarding the role of sex and gender and have added it back in but tweaked it more accurately whilst using the source you did use.

This is nothing personal against you mate but we both are trying to achieve accurate reliable Wikipedia articles and overlapping stuff is not the way to go about it. If you want to discuss Nazis/Slavs discussion then we can on the relative talk pages. Once again, I have nothing against you. :)!--Windows66 (talk) 12:07, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On ROsinsky image, Impalement...[edit]

Believe me, I've searched all Internet to find some verification that this is an actual story from the 20th century (as main editor, I've been extremely restictive on adding 20th-21th century material), but I haven't found a single source of any "Captain Rosinsky". That's why I've previously deleted the image, but I won't get into an edit war with you, but I would be EXTREMELY grateful if you find an additional source which enhances the probability of it being real from being just, for example, a fake image, or a still photo from a movie. I know your edit is in good faith, but in contrast of MOST stories on Impalement, that of Captain Rosinsky has precious few additional verifications to it.Arildnordby (talk) 22:08, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To make my point specific: You are not the only editor wanting this image within Impalement, just the most recent. I have RESIGNED from deleting it, I'm not going to remove it, but YET, I will be grateful if you can find some independent evidence about it depicting a REAL event.Arildnordby (talk) 22:29, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed GA nomination of Angela Merkel[edit]

Hi! I'd like to nominate Angela Merkel for consideration as a Good Article, and I'm reaching out to you as you are one of its most significant contributors. I have fixed some issues with that article, and I expanded it a little in some places, but I still feel that this is the right way to go per WP:GAN/I#N1.

2015 European migrant crisis[edit]

Hi Tobby72, I hope you're having a great day! I just wanted to let you know why I'm reverting your edit to 2015 European migrant crisis. The page is specifically about the 2015 surge in refugee and migrant arrivals in Europe. Things that aren't directly related to 2015, like updates on arrival numbers in the years since, aren't really relevant, especially as the article is already quite long. If you really feel the information you added belongs somewhere on Wikipedia, consider adding it to a more relevant page, like Immigration to the European Union – but keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a news site. Boris Nadezhdin political stance[edit]

Greetings Tobby72. I wanted to let you know why I'm reversing some particular parts of your edits to Boris Nadezhdin to avoid unneeded spats and edit wars (always a bad thing). While some of your edits were of high quality, some of them were a little misleading.

Your edit about controversies arising during his time in the "A Just Russia" political party was of particular use, as there weren't any Islamophobic statements in the sources and Nadezhdin really distanced himself from his previous statements. Mention of it being an attempt to win over the votes of LDPR supporters is also a good thing, as it provides an important context. However you deleted some important details of his negotiations with nationalist groups (such as "skin-headed youth", they were mentioned in the provided sources, so I returned them). Also "flirtation" is not the best way to describe his statements, as it might mislead the reader into believing that he had some sympathy for them (sources do not confirm that, on the contrary) and that this negotiations lasted for a long time (they didn't, as it was a short endeavor).

I'm really sorry for removing your edits to the "Political stances" section, but the provided sources confirm the "support of Crimea's occupation" part, as he indeed repeatedly called Crimea a part of Russia and (as of 2024 at least) he did not go back on his words. In one of the articles, provided as the source for his political position, it was really mentioned that Crimea is "Russian now", but that doesn't really contradicts the fact of his support for Crimea occupation (as it's only one source out of many). Nadezhdin also mentioned his "support for the Russian Constitution" several times, and it's current redaction directly states that Crimea (as well as other regions of Ukraine, outside of Crimea) is part of Russia. I know he could've meant some older variation of it, but I was unable to find any sources confirming that (would've be great, if you could provide them). I was also able to find the interview where he said that, on YouTube, so I've added it as a source (previous source is an article, which quotes that video).

This is nothing personal against you or your opinion and I'm really sorry if you took that personally. I also understand your wish to make this article reliable, truth-worthy and adhering to the principles of neutrality, but avoiding important information verified in the numerous sources provided (even if it seems unfair or unjust during ongoing events such harsh as presidential campaigns and wars) is not the best way to achieve that.

Anyways, thanks for your edits and contributions, it is a pleasure you have time and energy to make Wikipedia a better place. Have a nice day and stay safe! :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.157.109.147 (talk) 01:33, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe you are interested in having a discussion while at the same time waging edit wars [3] and vandalizing bio pages in violation of WP:BLP policy. You obviously only focus on spreading negative information about people who somehow oppose the Russian government and misrepresent the sources while doing so. For example, no reliable sources say that he supported the annexation of Crimea and that he was happy about it, only that he accepted it as a reality that Crimea belongs to Russia. Of course, if someone like Nadezhdin lives in an authoritarian country like Russia and is involved in politics, then he has to publicly support the official line of the Russian government on many issues, regardless of his private views, if he does not want to end up in prison for many years. It is very easy to judge from another country where one can freely express his opinion. But definitely no one should misrepresent sources and create attack pages for some dubious political reasons, that is against the rules of Wikipedia. The way you phrased some of the information gave most people the impression that he was some long-term Islamophobic neo-Nazi sympathizer who organized skinheads.[4] Absolutely disgusting distortion of facts and sources, as if someone wrote it for money from the Kremlin. -- Tobby72 (talk) 11:36, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tobby[edit]

Hi Tobby I just wanted to ask you whether you'd consider inserting Javier Milei's photo with Herzog under the subhead of "Visits by State leaders", where there's a gallery of meetings with Herzog and Netanyahu, instead of where you put it under "Americas"
