Counter Strike Manager[edit]

Counter-Strike Manager has been speedy deleted as recreation of material that was previously deleted. It was deleted after the following discussions:

You yourself are not a reliable source- using yourself as a source would be original research. The problem here lies in the fact that if you said something, I could immediately rebuke it and claim to be a source as well. Also, if there are no published sources, everything is inherently non-neutral, and the subject does not meet web content notability guidelines.-Wafulz 18:08, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm administrator on the site, and have played it for well over four years. I've been administrator for +two years.

You need to look at the deletion log. The article was deleted in 2006 at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. It was recreated and deleted again in January 2007 at a second AFD discussion. It has been deleted three or four more times as a repost of deleted content or as CSD A7, no assertion of notability. You face a uphill battle if you wish to cite reliable sources to demonstrate that the game is notable. Your next step, if you wish to contest the deletion, is to request a deletion review. Just a quick pointer on Wikipedia rules:No, you yourself CANNOT use yourself as a source. Neither can anybody esle use you as a source UNLESS you at some stage produced references which would be considered acceptable (lets say you wrote an article that got accepted for publication in a gaming magazine, or on a reputable website (i.e. one where not simply anyone can post)). Where you CAN use your personal knowledge is in knowing WHERE to look for such references. If you have worked on the issue (program/website) for years, you may be well-placed to know who wrote something about it (and when) in a publication that could be considered such a reputable reference. But as noted, an article that has been deleted twice will face close scrutiny when it is again recreated, so your sources should be good before you go at it again. I hope it´s ok this way. You can´t get it nearer to the other infobox, because the gallery is in the way. You could add more text on top of the gallery and place the template within this text. Another solution would be to change the template. Then instead of vertical direction, the text is arranged in horizontal direction. This could be added to the bottom. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. PS - seeing that you take photos for Wikipedia, why not upload them to Commons instead? Works pretty much just like on Wikipedia, but they get sorted a lot better, and are of use to everyone, not just one of the Wikimedia projects. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, instead of writing it yourself. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.
