Welcome :)[edit]

Hi! Welcome to Wikipedia. I congratulate you on the good job you have done with Tiruchirappalli article. :) It is, indeed, great to find someone willing to work with articles on smaller cities of Tamil Nadu. However, you appear to be new to Wikipedia and unaware of some of the quality standards. I found that you have added three new sections "Roadway", "Railway" and "Airway" under the section "Transportation". Firstly, the usage of the terms "Railway" and "Airway" in this particular context is grammatically wrong. And then, while we could add sub-sections named "Road Transportation", "Rail transportation" and "Air transportation", you should also keep in mind that the WP:MOS discourages the creation of unnecessary and insignificant sub-sections. At present, I am following the example set by the article on Mangalore which has been granted featured article status due to the very reason that it is a fine one for a city similar in size to Trichy. I also recommend that you follow the same style. Thanks :) -The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 02:16, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! your images are absolutely fine but add images only under relevant sections. For eg., what is the need of adding the picture of "Kaveri bridge" in the History section and Srirangam under Demographics section. Also why did you remove the map. It was added by experienced editors for a purpose. --Thalapathi (Ping Back) 15:19, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Really feels good to see new images. But don't add "BHEL entrance" and "Idlies" images. Those were removed long back. Also do you have the image of Anna Stadium, if so please upload one. --Thalapathi (Ping Back) 16:30, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you had noticed that Tiruchirappalli has been rated as a good article. Though it is against the spirit of Wikipedia, I'd rather advice you to keep away from the article unless you have a certain amount of experience in the project. There are a sufficient number of images in the article. I might have retained the image of ELCOT IT Park but then I could not be sure of the source. Kindly clarify whether it has been snapped by you. And if it was indeed taken by you, then why is it lacking the metadata information.-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 18:47, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
