Orphaned non-free image File:Bikinis N Thongs, Kool Keith & Denis Deft.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Bikinis N Thongs, Kool Keith & Denis Deft.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:04, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Notorious (Donald D album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Disambiguation link notification for September 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Never Too Far (Dianne Reeves album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Contemporary jazz (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:32, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What WP:NALBUMS says[edit]

Hi. You claimed in your edit summary upon beginning Whitey Ford's House of Pain that adding a chart peak means your article has passed WP:NALBUMS. This is not necessarily the case. If you had read, WP:NALBUMS actually states that an album charting indicates it may be notable, not that it is. It's best not to think one or a few chart peaks will save an article from being redirected or deleted, because it hasn't before. We need coverage in independent, reliable news sources as well. Thanks for creating Dianne Reeves discography, Tom Holmes!

Wikipedia editor Doomsdayer520 just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Thanks for your new article on the Dianne Reeves discography. Note that other editors have pointed out some issues with the article, such as a need for more references. I also recommend adding some prose about Reeves's basic release history to make the article seem like more than just a bare list. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Discographies for pointers.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Jetsonmade moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Jetsonmade, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Jetsonmade[edit]

Hello, Tom Holmes. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Jetsonmade".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:48, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
