Fedor Emelianenko[edit]

Hi, could you please provide a reference to the article regarding Fedor's practice of Muay Thai? Thanks. Shawnc 06:59, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the response. Nice links! I've added the source to the article (there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources to make this project more reputable). Shawnc 08:04, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:35 1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:35 1.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 16:52, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing my user page[edit]

I would like to stipulate that TornVictor has my consent to edit my user page in any way he deems fit. That said, I feel that Dcooper should refrain from making warnings regarding the edits of user pages until the user in question has complained. Proactive warning is foolish. Josh 19:27, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You should view my warning as a gift. Now, the next time you replace someone's user page with a picture of a penis, the editor will check here and find out that its one of those non-vandalising-penis-image-replacing edits. No need to thank me.--Dcooper 20:21, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you're going to post on my talk page, Dcooper, please use proper grammar and punctuation. Thanks buddy. -- TornVictor 04:08, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Dcooper, you're a pretentious idiot. Josh 01:10, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User page vandalism[edit]

SIR, WHAT FOR DO YOU VANDALIZE MY WIKIPEDIA USER PAGE? PLEASE TO BE REVERTING IT OR ELSE I WILL BE SENDING THE Dcooper AT YOU. Josh 05:50, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jon Fitch[edit]

Jon Fitch is not an "American martial artist". The term "martial artist" is extremely vague and brings to mind the image of some bum doing kung fu in his dad's garage. Jon Fitch is a professional athlete who competes in the sport of mixed martial arts. He does it for a living. Were he a boxer, would you describe him as "Jon Fitch - American boxer" or "Jon Fitch - American martial artist"? TornVictor 19:56, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can call him Betty Crocker on the moon for all I care. The reason I revert is because you hyperlink. The other entries on the page are not hyperlinked unless they are tied to something else Fitch-related or the entry itself does not have a link. You're not going to change the format on the page, because aside from you, no one else cares what he is called, so change away, but don't hyperlink what you call him. God is Not Great[edit]

Whether the lower-case G was the decision of an American cover designer or an intentional point by Hitchens (and discussion suggests it's merely the former), MoS:TM is very clear about how non-standard trademarks and titles should be handled. --McGeddon 17:40, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
