Operation Trojan Horse[edit]

Hi, here's a task for you tomorrow as I may be busy with other commitments and it's too late now to start.

The "Reactions" section can do with a media sub-section, as the right-wing and left-wing media have different opinions on the causes, effects and cures to this episode. Daily Mail have done editorials, Gilligan of the Telegraph has written half our article, Guardian and Independent journalists have criticised faith schools in general, Guardian, Independent, Huff Post and Socialist Worker have been largely sceptical.

Also, in the political section, George Galloway is a prominent reactionary to cases such as these, and has been tweeting that he believes that the whole scenario is a hoax. Salma Yaqoob has also been notably active. It's important that we balance the article with views from these figures, which has attracted its own attention. Cheers and good luck! Yeah, I'd been kinda deliberately avoiding any sort of media section with their analysis seeing as there are so many different view out there. Some maintain it's all a hoax that's been perpetrated by Islamophobic neocons, others view it as specifically a British Muslim problem, some say "Problem? No problem and long may it continue!" and others yet have urged faith schools in general should be abolished (despite that the schools concerned were not faith schools.) Presenting this smorgasbord of views in an elegant way without being cluttered with the clamant sermonising of lightweight commentators will be difficult and I don't really have the inclination for anything difficult at the moment - there is a World Cup, a Test series and sunshine to enjoy.

I'll keep a look out for some coverage of the reactions of Galloway and co. but I'd rather not include it unless mentioned in the mainstream press.

I've removed Operation Trojan Horse from my watchlist now, I don't think I have the resolve to cover political controversies anymore, plus the story is most likely 95% at its conclusion now so the only edits will be reverting vandalism or flagrant POV. Anyway, thank you for contributing so much to an article which I created, and good luck in improving it in the future! Eventually, ask for a peer review from one of its WikiProjects (I think WikiProject Politics of the United Kingdom is most relevant) to get it to C-class.
