Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 216.66.64.99. I am logged in. The template used for the proxy block says "If you have a Wikipedia account, please log in." Either this does not apply to unconfirmed accounts (in which case, clarify) or there is a mistake somewhere. Triky2Talk 4:55 pm, Today (UTC+2)

Decline reason:

According to the WP:CHECKUSER (below), this IP is "some sort of VPN", so I can't unblock it. Vanjagenije (talk) 14:33, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{checkuser needed}} What's going on here? Should we give this user an WP:IP block exemption? Vanjagenije (talk) 21:32, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The IP address cited by the user appears to be some sort of VPN. Triky2, can you explain what this IP address is? ST47 (talk) 02:48, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Could you clarify? I'm not sure what you mean by your question. I'm not using a VPN on my computer, at least, so it's a problem with either the router or provider. Triky2Talk 19:02, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
