You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gravity noir requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Primary sources[edit]

Hello. I assume those links are fine to use as primary sources, it's just that the article needs more secondary sources. If you click the link in the template it starts by saying "Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published secondary sources and, to a lesser extent, on tertiary sources and primary sources." The Gravity Noir's references are mostly (or maybe even entirely?) primary sources. --Lord Belbury (talk) 15:42, 15 December 2019 (UTC) OK, Thanks Lord Belbury.--Trix18365 (talk) 10:45, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Gravity Noir, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 3D. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:22, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Gravity Noir albums[edit]

Hello, Trix18365,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged Gravity Noir albums for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative. Also, you may want to consider working on future articles in draft space first, where they cannot be deleted for lacking content.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

This page should not be speedy deleted because...[edit]

@John B123: Hi John, this page should not be speedily deleted because... I've just begun adding all Gravity Noir albums and giving them a separate page. I've already finished, Future Days (Gravity Noir album) and just finished writing an article about their second album, Liberation (Gravity Noir album). Still hoping to create a new page for their first album 'Handmade'. It would make it easier for visitors to find all Gravity Noir albums listed in 'Category:Gravity Noir albums', but don't have permission to move page Gravity Noir albums to a category listed page. Please help if you can, thanks in advance. Best wishes for 2021, Happy New Year! Trix18365 (talk) 16:28, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Trix18365, I've created the category and moved Future Days (Gravity Noir album) and Liberation (Gravity Noir album) into that category. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:01, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gravity Noir albums moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Gravity Noir albums, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more encyclopedic content.(verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on File:Handmade (Album by Gravity Noir).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

@Robert McClenon: Dear Robert McClenon, As I mentioned about a year ago on the article's talk page: I've been trying my very best to improve it and believe that I reasonably fixed the issues. Plenty of primary sources were added. On the issue of and if this article may be written from a fan's point of view, rather than a neutral point of view. I would like to challenge several articles due to the fact that they originated with a page started and written by someone with an interest in the topic. For me, the reason isn't much different. I noticed that the 90's group Gravity Noir didn't have a page yet. I only discovered them a few years ago. I wouldn't call myself a fan, but rather someone who shows a lot of interest. Perhaps it would have been better if several people would contribute to the further development of the article. But no doubt the same applies to them, above all, the person in question must be interested in the subject. Otherwise, they will not accept the challenge to do so. I don't have a conflict of interest and don't edit for the purpose of advertising, publicising or promoting anyone or anything. Kind regards and best wishes, Trix18365 (talk) 09:22, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You just happen to have just one topic of interest, and even know that the show at the Fakkeltheater is nearly sold out (well, at 150 places, that's not much of an achievement for the premiere of a Belgian film starring a famous international singer (who died 7 years before filming even started, but who cares, right?)). Please don't take us for fools just because we left your spam up for a few months too long. Fram (talk) 08:20, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why this personal attack Fram? Article contributors trying to improve a page should be respected for their efforts. It's easy to accuse someone of a conflict of interest. And I admit it's not always easy to find reliable sources that don't give the impression of being for promotional purposes, but at least I try to find the right ones that are warranted. This is really starting to look like a witch hunt. Shame about all the intense searching that might be lost. Trix18365 (talk) 08:54, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't want to be suspected of having a very clear COI (I wasn't the first one to notice this), then don't edit one narrow topic exclusively for years and aross at least 3 wikis, and don't pick a username which very clearly suggests that you are the same person as the one central to all these articles. Coupled with knowing stuff only someone close to the topic in real life could know. You even claimed multiple selfies by Patrick Knight (uploaded on commons) as your own work... [1]. Fram (talk) 09:15, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Fram, this is so bad it's almost an invasion of privacy. I don't have to defend myself or explain my personal privacy here. But indeed, because of the work I do, I had the opportunity to capture these photos during Belgian film premieres. The mere fact that the gentlemen were invited to these Belgian premieres is remarkable in itself. Choosing a username is often accompanied by the creation of a first article. This was no different for me. Kind regards. Trix18365 (talk) 09:44, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
this, taken by "our own camera" in 1990 by Patrick's father, just happens to come into the hands of someone without a COI? But who is present during the shooting of videoclips of the band[2], who has taken photo's of Knight since 1989[3], and is even able to get pictures removed from the band's website[4]. You may deny as much as you like, but Occam's Razor applies here. Fram (talk) 10:09, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It has indeed cost me a great deal of effort to track down Patrick Knight's father and obtain permission to use and post these photos. Through the work I do this sometimes gives opportunities, but whether these tools are not allowed and / or prohibited by wikipedia seems strange to me. I can only admit that my interest in the band goes no further than trying to improve the reliability of the wiki article and yes, I do go to great lengths sometimes. That's why I keep defending myself. Old photos and articles from newspapers and magazines when the Internet was still in its infancy would be lost forever. If those articles were still circulating, this discussion would not have been necessary. Trix18365 (talk) 11:11, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
