Notice all edits about, and all pages related to post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people[edit]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. External links in article body[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Please do not place external links into the body of an article (such as at American Civil Rights Union) as it goes against the content guideline on external links. Typically external links should be confined to the "External links" section at the bottom of the article, and the number of links in that section should mostly only be one link to the organization's website (see Wikipedia:ELMINOFFICIAL). Thanks and happy editing! RA0808 talkcontribs 20:32, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I now understand about the outside links and will not add them again to text. But all the other changes, such as correcting personnel of the organization, and adding information were also wiped out. How can I restore them?

I have responded at the version of this message you posted to my talk page. RA0808 talkcontribs 21:31, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Help me![edit]

I have spent considerable time correcting misedits that amount to vandalism at the American Civil Rights Union page. After my last edit, someone rolled it all back. This is vandalism and it must stop. You apparently have a rogue administrator who hates our organization.

Please help me with...

How do I restore my edits and prevent future tampering. All the edits are factual.

@Truthwins09:Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia that is edited by volunteers and all are welcome to edit. However, careful attention must be given to ensuring neutral points of view and avoiding conflicts of interests. According to your signature and credentials you supplied above, it appears you are trying to edit or maintain an article you have a primary connection to. As an editor that has not participated in editing or correcting the American Civil Rights Union, I have reviewed the changes you've mad that were reverted later by other editors. It appears some of your changes weren't consistent with the Manual of Style, specifically the location of added of external links and citation format. I'd encourage you to visit The Teashouse and seek guidance from more experienced editors. You can also propose changes to the article on the talk page and reach a consensus for addition of content. If there's anything else I can do to help you, please don't hesitate to respond to this message here on your talk page. Just click the edit button above and type :{{ping|Operator873}}Your message here. Don't forget to sign your messages by typing ~~~~ at the end. Thank you again for your contributions and desire to make Wikipedia a more complete encyclopedia. Operator873CONNECT 21:26, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, American Civil Rights Union, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
