- It'll be great to have you, though it's not a hugely active group, despite there being a vast amount left to improve. My belief is that the WP:ALPS Project should really look beyond just the mountains themselves, and encourage contributions across a wider range of high alpine subjects, including the mountaineers, huts, guides, glaciers and high alpine flora & fauna. We're building a list of reference books that we've individually got access to, lest another project member needs someone to look up any details for another person. (I've got many guidebooks for the 4000mer areas, but know little of the outlying alpine regions.) Yeah, Tryfan is stunning. Haven't rock climbed there for quite some years, but did manage to update both the Tryfan and Glyder Fach pages with a pic and a video from when did the North Ridge and Bristly Ridge route last year. - @Nick Moyes: I share your view that the focus should be a bit broader; there's certainly more to the Alps than just the peaks alone. Unfortunately I'm a bit lacking in Alpine-based literature, which seems to be a necessary companion in developing a fully-fleshed out article, but will try and use all the resources I have - understanding German to a decent degree helps. Will at least try to advance any new articles beyond a simple stub. The Glyderau are a great day out, in general - my earliest experiences of mountains were based there.
