A tag has been placed on Taylor Scott van Batavia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:12, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:Tsvbfeb/iF Iron Front - Facebook Mafia Cities Gaming Family, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Tsvbfeb/iF Iron Front - Facebook Mafia Cities Gaming Family and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Tsvbfeb/iF Iron Front - Facebook Mafia Cities Gaming Family during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or do things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to remind you that the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. -Optigan13 (talk) 21:48, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry[edit]

That's not what Wikipedia userpages are for. You want a free webhost, of which there are lots online. DS (talk) 00:26, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tsvbfeb, and welcome to Wikipedia! Let me start by saying that we are glad you are here and hope that you continue to edit. I understand that Wikipedia takes some getting used to, and there are a whole lot of rules that you may be unaware of at this point. Let me just point out one in particular, this one. In a nutshell it states that Wikipedia is not a web host and as such you can not post information about a club or game that you made up, also note that Wikipedia is not a myspace but a online encyclopedia. I see that you are interested in adding the content to article space, but in its current state that would not be allowed. Might I recommend you start our by editing already established pages? Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 01:04, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • HANGON - Tsvbfeb is a good-faith creator of new content in his user pages. Wikipedia:User#What_about_user_subpages.3F allows a work in progress, until it is ready to be released into article space. There is an ongoing MfD in which two editors (including myself) feel that the content should be kept and Tsvbfeb given a chance to get it ready for article space. Tsvbfeb expressly stated in the MfD that he plans to improve the newly created content to add to the encyclopedia. Reasonable doubt exists and the pages that were speedy deleted should be restored to allow discussion using another method. -- Suntag 01:21, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay[edit]

Fine. It's back in your userspace. DS (talk) 01:32, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
