A tag has been placed on Draft:Jeff Rodgers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from Confidence Compare https://www.azcardinals.com/team/coaches-roster/jeff-rodgers. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello! Just checking in. Gregg Williams already exists. Is that who you had in mind? Red Director (talk) 20:33, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see. Looks good to me. Relevant person in a relevant position. You have references, links, and a infobox. We can monitor it and see what others think. Red Director (talk) 21:17, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like that was a while back. It seems the coach in questions has landed at some notable jobs. You cannot undo a deletion nomination for archive purposes. Let's see what happens with the admins that look at it. Red Director (talk) 22:40, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article you just deleted has been updated to reflect that Greg Williams is notable due to his playing career as well as his extensive coaching career. There are many articles (that are less in depth than this) for other coaches throughout the NFL, who have far less experience. Please consider allowing this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turtleturtle00 (talkcontribs) 23:36, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

@Turtleturtle00, we judge each article's sourcing on its own merits and by participant consensus. I started a discussion on the article's talk page, but otherwise we ask that content deleted by consensus not be recreated without the introduction of new sourcing/evidence worthy of reopening that discussion. I've already suggested to create a draft but you've recreated the article with identical content. Please discuss on the article's talk page: Talk:Greg Williams (American football coach). To your point, yes, other articles may exist with less sourcing but we can only discuss one article at a time and haven't found those yet. czar 06:21, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

One of the reasons for deletion (by Johnpacklambert) was due to the fact that previously the article did not reflect his playing career; the article is now in fact updated to show his playing career as well as his extensive coaching career, thus making it a notable admission. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turtleturtle00 (talkcontribs) 06:53, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Usually articles require more evidence of significant coverage than the sources currently provide BUT I notified the discussants from the last discussion so we'll see what they say. czar 14:10, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There is a response on Talk:Greg Williams (American football coach) that you can engage there. (not watching, please {{ping}} as needed) czar 16:10, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie Bullen moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Charlie Bullen, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
