Rajni Pallavi <https://www.youtube.com/user/rajnipallavi/videos></ref>belongs to Pilakhbar, Madhubani and is a professional music teacher. She has done her Masters in Hindustani Classical music and has been performing since the age of 5 years. She also sings on All India Radio and in various ‘Vidyapati Samarohs’ across India. Although Rajni sings Ghazals, Bhajans, and Maithili folk songs with great fervour, her personal favourite is ‘Vidyapati's songs’.

Rajni has dedicated herself to taking the Vidyapati's songs and Maithili Lok Geet to every individual in whose heart a piece of Mithila resides. Through her songs, Rajni would like to appeal to all Maithils to support her in this unique initiative of keeping our heritage not only alive, but also making it strong for a glorious mithila that we aspire to achieve. Hope her songs gives you the fragrance of mithila you have been longing for all these years.^[1]^[2]
