Why did you remove my warning?

Hi, I put in a warning on a page that is blatant propaganda, besides being increadibly ugly and badly edited. But it does not belong on Wikipedia! And instead of deleting the whole rubbish, I decided to put a polite warning at the top. Putting it in a "talk" page is not enough. Again: The page is pure propaganda written by the supporters of a former dictatorial regime that recently lost their bid to regain control in Ethiopia by military means. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Binnith (talkcontribs) 05:38, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Binnith! Regardless of the article or its content, you shouldn't put your opinion or a warning about an article in the article itself, which is why I removed your "warning" as per WP:ICW. I see that you raise neutrality issues. Please see WP:NPOVFAQ for more information, as I'm not knowledgeable enough myself when it comes to this. Also, see WP:RCD as to how to solve your allegation of bias. Lastly, controversy, which you state in said warning, is not a reason to blank the page or edit the article in such a way that isn't controversial, as per WP:CENSOR. Thanks. Kind regards. —Twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 06:31, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your reply. But it is not enough. The page is pure rubbish - I myself have written extensively on the conflict and was looking for the date at which one of the main battles took place (9th of December) but it is not even mentioned in the article! The page is pure TPLF propaganda, and there is no reason why there should not be a warning about this at the top. In fact, such a warning is the only way to keep the article in place. I've been using Wikipedia since it's foundation, and in the early years I wrote and edited a fair bit (although I have forgotten the user name and had to make a new one). I have also supported Wikipedia financially. Over the decades I have come to trust Wikipedia fairly much, but then again I have never come accross anything resembling the dross that is to be found on the page in question. A warning at the very top is the absolute minimum!

Hi again, Binnith. If you do see that the article needs fixing, feel free to be bold and fix the apparent mistakes yourself, but still be careful and don't edit disruptively, like what I think you did. Thanks again. Kind regards. —Twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 06:44, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
