Thank you for welcoming me, Princessof Llyr! I've a real life, and so am a sporadic editor, but how do I get adopted? Would you adopt me? (Do I respond here or not?) TypewriterGirl (talk) 23:35, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Responding here is right...I'm just glad I still had it watchlisted! I can adopt you, but I'll warn you that I too am sporadic, especially this summer. However, I'll be around a lot for the next week, so I think I could get you started pretty well if that's what you wanted. Let me know. If you want someone else, read up on the procedure here. I'm so glad you're interested! A lot of new users make a couple edits and then disappear forever. PrincessofLlyr royal court 01:50, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Finally logged in again and saw that I had a message. I never intended to do a lot with this, but I edit when I notice a need in my reading, and I wanted an account for privacy. I like the big welcome box, but just wondering, is one supposed to take messages down after a time? TypewriterGirl (talk) 15:58, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm a talk page stalker of the Princess and to answer your question, you do not have to delete the messages. It is recommended to make an archive so other users can go back to see your history. So, its completely up to you whether or not to archive or blank the page. Welcome to Wikipedia!Derild4921 12:38, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Derild. Archiving is typically done when a section gets old and is not being used or when a page is too long. It can be done manually or using a bot. At this point, your page is fine, but if you wanted to archive, you could. Just move the sections User talk:TypewriterGirl/Archive 1 or something like that. Ah, okay. Thanks, guys! TypewriterGirl (talk) 16:28, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
