Unapproved bot?[edit]

Hi.
See please. Neither bot nor task are approved, as far as I can tell, there has never been consensus for a bot welcoming new editors (WP:PEREN#Use a bot to welcome new users)! Can you shut it down and try get it approved at WP:BAG first?
