Voodoo Tiki[edit]

I've unprotected the article space to allow for you to create the article. Jmlk17 01:28, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot!

And I've nominated it for deletion again, since you did not adhere to the requirements at WP:DRV for this article's restoration, namely that it be fully sourced in your userspace draft before restoring it. It is still just an ad, and could be speedily deleted again on that basis. But after cleaning it up some, I sent it to Articles for Deletion instead, for fuller discussion. Which also gives you time to fully source the article and rewrite it to be an encyclopedia article instead of an ad, hint hint. Unless it gets sent to speedy deletion anyway, you've got around a week before it probably gets deleted again unless you fix it. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 18:26, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. It was on my user page, by the time this article was created. Please check my user history. I've thought everything was ok.

Send me any suggestion you might have... since I've contacted a lot of admins trying to find out if everything was ok.

I've spent many hours creating this article. So _please_ let me know what's wrong with it. Again: see my user talk page and unprotection history/comments.

I've been asking everywhere if the everything was ok all the time. All I want is to create a good article, following wikipedia's style, that's all. And I do appreciate your help with this.

I don't know what happened with this article a long time ago, but I'm just trying to create a neutral article, with many references. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

BTW, I am adding a few comments on the Deletion page.

AfD nomination of Voodoo Tiki[edit]

An editor has nominated Voodoo Tiki, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Voodoo Tiki and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:00, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note to let you know that I responded to your comment left on my talk page at the AFD nomination page. - Smerdis of Tlön (talk) 18:27, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding User:Ubzy/Voodoo Tiki: it's been a year-and-a-half[edit]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Ubzy/Voodoo Tiki, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for businesses.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page in question and leave a note on this page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 14:08, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
