Plot length[edit]

Per WP:VG/PLOT, plot shouldn't be longer than 700 words. Your contribution to Rule of Rose makes it 892 words. ภץאคгöร 09:34, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'm genuinely unsure if this matters. The manual specifies "generally" 700 words, not a hard limit? and it also specifies that plot should be proportional to the game-- For RoR, the plot is very important. I did not do anything except reformat sentences that were too vague/had bad grammar, fix runon sentences, and add in certain small details that are important to a summary of the game (the name of the stuffed bear, Wendy's involvement with Gregory + Wendy's death, Considering these things, I do not think 200 words over the 'recommended' guideline in order to create a coherent and concise summary of the game's story is very unwarranted. Yes, but since the plot of the game can be explained in less than 700 words, I do not think that what you have added is effective and significant enough to be worth the 192-word excess for the subject discussed. For example, Wendy's involvement with the deaths was already adequately mentioned, and what the stuffed bear's name is and who named it, who told Jennifer "that Brown in the bag" is trivial information. I have added a few more changes I believe are important, plus changed around some sentences for the sake of clarity. I also separated the middle paragraph into two smaller paragraphs so it's a little more readable. Current word count is 697. UnapolMaker (talk) 19:27, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
