Marcey Waters[edit]

Hi User1070, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for taking the time to update content on Marcey Waters page. I was the original creator of this page, and studied with Marcey at UNC back in 2004.

I applaud your addition of her beta-hairpin image, and the addition of much of her volunteer service. I hope you'll agree that I reverted the awards section (and its references) to be more of a reverse-chronology bulleted list; it's cleaner, and easier for others to update later. I also stripped out any redundancies between the sections, such as her titles, professorship chairs, and her education. It's best for everything to appear only once on a page, if at all possible.

For models, I'd suggest using Dave Evans' page (famous Harvard organic chemist). He's published 300+ papers and mentored dozens of R1 professors, yet his page is tight, succinct, and shorter than Marcey's! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_A._Evans

Thanks for editing, and improving Wikipedia. Keep it up! Tarselli (talk) 15:21, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
